I have played with all the power management settings I have updated to the most recent bios from asus Hi Here is my setup and what ive done so far to try and fix it. If i put the computer to sleep or hibernate and come back within 5 minutes it works but if i leave it go for an hour or so the monitor does not come back i have to shut it down and restart. I have tried some solutions I found on other threads dealing with sleep mode options under power in control panel with no success any ideas guys thanks. Once put into sleep mode on either computer it worked for the first few days lightning fast, and without any changes now the keyboard/monitor/mouse do not wake up and i have to pull the plug and reboot. I have 2 computers which have had this problem, windows 7 ultimate 64 bit on a gateway pc and also windows 7 professional 64 bit on a custom built pc.
